Small business partnerships
We are inspired by the insight, talent, and ingenuity of our small business partners and collaborate with them to maximize their unique expertise. In addition to working with partners who have supported the Department for years, we also support new small business entrants to the Federal Energy market, drawing on our proven past performance together. We’re invested in creating new opportunities and expanding strategic partnerships with small businesses, drawing on their rich insights and relationships across DOE and supporting them in incubating new capabilities and skills tied to in demand technologies like Digital Platforms, Cloud, and Cybersecurity. We participate in the DOE Small Business Forum & Expo and regularly host Federal Energy Account Small Business events allowing us to create new connections, discuss upcoming needs, and uncover new opportunities for collaboration. These efforts help small businesses grow and bring innovation to DOE’s unique mission needs.

Recap of October 9th Small Business Event
During our 3rd AFS Energy Small Business Event, we were energized by the 20+ Small Businesses and federal leaders who joined us for an afternoon of collaboration. We had the privilege of discussing the value DOE places on small businesses and the importance of our strategic partnerships. This session focused on sharing our experiences with emerging ecosystems, FY25 priorities, and resources for our small business partners to scale at DOE. We remain committed to creating new and meaningful opportunities to engage with our small businesses through hosting similar sessions in the future. Department of Energy
The Department of Energy CIO Business Operation Support Services (CBOSS) 2.0 contract vehicle awarded in 2025 is a seven-year, single-award IT Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a contract ceiling of $3.5B, providing access to industry-leading capabilities across a wide range of existing and emerging technology services.
DOE National Labs
DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the Undersecretary for Science and Innovation oversee the labs. With 17 science and technology labs across the US, we are delivering Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modernization services to multiple labs such as Lawrence Livermore.
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) plays a vital role in the well-being of our nation's citizens and economic stability. From regulating the interstate transmission of electricity, natural gas, and oil to building liquefied natural gas terminals and natural gas pipelines, FERC provides critical services to its customers who expect reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy at a reasonable cost.
Tennessee Valley Authority
TVA is a corporate agency of the U.S. with headquarters in Knoxville, TN focused on energy, environment, and economic development. Accenture delivers digital transformation services via critical system implementations, IT strategy projects, and cybersecurity initiatives.
