I'm new to AI. Is the AI Experience for me?
The AI Experience has something for everyone, whether you're a nascent AI adopter or an advanced engineer. Explore the features that are relevant to your interests, expertise, and mission needs. Docents and subject matter advisors are always nearby to help.
What types of AI capabilities can I expect to see?
The AI Experience has a blend of demos, videos, and interactive experiences. Depending on your unique path, you might tinker with federal-ready AI tools, build your own agent, test your knowledge of deepfakes, or get a front-row seat to a TED-style talk on agentic AI.
How long is the AI Experience?
The AI Experience is offered regularly at The Forge in a flexible, expo-style format. Two time slots are available for each day of the AI Experience: morning (10:00am – 12:00pm) and afternoon (1:00 – 3:00 pm).
Who can attend the AI Experience?
The AI Experience is designed for the federal community to better understand how AI can accelerate their missions.
We welcome current and prospective federal partners. AFS employees may attend the AI Experience with a client.
How do I obtain access to the building?
The Forge is located on the 7th floor of the 1201 New York Ave NW building. Proceed to the elevators nearest Slipstream and take them up to the 7th Floor.
How do I get there on the metro?
The building is located two blocks from the McPherson Square station, with stops from the Orange, Blue, and Silver lines.
Is there parking at the venue?
Parking is available in the building, and the entrance to the garage is on I Street. It is operated by Metropolis, and the daily max is $22.
